Outside the readings, outside the booking, outside the part of my life that earns a living, I feed and care for community animals in Ahmedabad. It started years ago with a few street dogs in my neighbourhood. It is now whoever shows up at the bowls. Dogs. Cats. Cows on the way home from the field. Squirrels. Birds. Once a snake, briefly, and gently sent on its way.

This page is for people who would like to share in the work. It is not a fundraiser. It is not a campaign. It is a quiet, voluntary thing. Suggest, never demand.

WHO SHOWS UP: Roughly fifty regular dogs in the local pack. Cats who come and go. Two cows on the way home from the field. Squirrels and crows year-round. Other animals as they appear.

THE WORK

Two meals a day. Rice, chicken, sometimes curd, sometimes leftovers from a kitchen that does not waste.

Clean water in the bowls, refilled through the day in summer.

Vet visits when an animal is hurt or unwell. Wound dressing, antibiotics, anti-rabies, sterilisation when needed.

Shelter from rain in the monsoon and from cold in winter, simple covered spots that the animals know are safe.

Whatever else is needed in the moment — a found kitten, a confused snake, a bird with a broken wing, a pregnant stray needing a quiet corner.

A Google Pay QR. Nothing else.

Scan the QR with any UPI app and send what feels right. Even fifty rupees feeds two dogs for a morning. There is no tier. There is no minimum. There is no thank-you email or receipt — this is not an NGO and there is no tax benefit. There is only the knowledge that the bowls were fuller because of you.

The account behind this QR is a separate personal account dedicated only to seva. It is not the practice account. Contributions never touch the booking or session flow.

POLICY

Read this before you give.

Sai Seva is a personal act of care for community animals in Ahmedabad. It is run by Ruchita Joshi as an individual. Sai Seva is not a registered charity, trust, non-profit, NGO, or society. It does not have 12A or 80G certification. There is no tax benefit available on contributions made under this page.

Contributions are voluntary in every sense. Nothing on this site asks you for money. We suggest the option. We do not demand it. No reading, session, booking, or service depends on whether you contribute, and there is no preferential treatment for contributors.

Once transferred, contributions are not returned. Please do not send money you cannot afford to part with, and please do not send money expecting to take it back. By transferring funds via the Google Pay QR or any UPI route on this page, you irrevocably gift those funds to Ruchita Joshi for the purposes described below.

What contributions are used for. Funds are used at the sole discretion of Ruchita Joshi for any activity related to the welfare of stray community animals in and around Ahmedabad. The animals served are not limited to dogs. They include and are not limited to cats, cows, squirrels, birds, snakes, and any other species that arrives at the bowls or is brought to attention. The activities include and are not limited to feeding, water, shelter, medical and veterinary care, sterilisation, vaccination, rescue, transport, and any other practical step required for the wellbeing of the animals served.

No promises beyond the work. No specific outcome is guaranteed. No specific animal is guaranteed care. No specific allocation of any contribution is guaranteed. Sai Seva is run as a quiet daily practice; it is not a programme with budgets, milestones, or audited reports.

Records. Photos and short notes from the seva are sometimes shared on Ruchita's personal Instagram. They are not formal reporting. They are a window.

Withdrawal of consent. If you wish to be acknowledged personally, please do not contribute through this page; instead, contact Ruchita directly. By contributing through the QR you accept that the contribution is anonymous unless you choose to identify yourself in the UPI note.

Disputes. By contributing, you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms. Disputes regarding contributions are not entertained.

Whatever you give, the bowls will be filled tomorrow either way.
