ANIMAL COMMUNICATION

How Animal Communication Actually Works: What I Do Before I Say a Single Word

I learned the hollow bone from my Earthwise training, but I understood it the first time Bella looked at me in 2020 and I felt something pass between us that had nothing to do with words. Before I open a session with your animal, I spend time becoming empty. Not meditative-empty in the way people mean when they want to sound calm. Actually empty. Sai Baba holds the space. Archangel Metatron marks the boundary of what I receive. My job is to get my own preferences out of the way so your animal’s frequency can come through clean.

What most people picture, and why it is not quite right

Most people imagine animal communication as telepathy in the cinematic sense. The animal sends thought-sentences and the communicator receives them like subtitles. That is not what it is. Animals do not think in our grammar. They carry frequencies and they carry images, and a small number carry word-shapes when they have lived long enough with a human to absorb them. What I do is tune myself to that frequency-and-image stream and translate it into language for you.

The translation is the slow part. The animal’s message is fast. My job is to find the right human words for what they are showing me without losing the accuracy.

The hollow bone, where I learned it and what it means

The hollow bone is what shamans across many traditions call the cleared practitioner. The bone is your body. The hollow is what you make of yourself by setting your own thoughts down and letting something else move through you. At Earthwise, this was the first thing I was taught and the last thing I am still learning. It is not a one-time achievement. Every session asks for it again.

For you this matters because a communicator who has not done this work will give you what they think your animal would say. A communicator who has cleared will give you what your animal is actually saying, including the parts you did not want to hear.

My preparation before every session

I sit somewhere quiet, usually in my room with the door closed. I drink water. I light a small lamp. I put away my phone. I look at the photograph of your animal you have sent me, and I say their name aloud three times. Then I ground through my body to the floor and I breathe until the breath stops being mine.

I invoke Sai Baba, who holds the space. I ask Archangel Metatron to mark the boundary of what I am allowed to receive in this session. I introduce myself to your animal by name, and I ask permission to speak with them. Most animals answer immediately. A few wait. A few decline, and when they decline I tell you and we do not proceed.

From the moment permission is given, I am a hollow bone for the next forty to sixty minutes. The session ends when your animal indicates we are done, or when I sense the hollow filling with my own thoughts again, whichever comes first.

What I receive, and what I cannot promise

Impressions arrive in three forms. Images, like a photograph dropping into my mind, sometimes with movement. Physical sensations in my own body that mirror something the animal is feeling, a tightness in the chest, a heat behind the eyes, a heaviness in one paw. And occasionally words, especially with animals who have lived long with a human and absorbed our language.

I cannot promise that every question you bring will be answered. Some animals answer everything. Some answer two questions and then ask their own. Some change the subject because what you came to ask is not what they want you to know. I follow your animal’s lead, not yours. That is the deal.

What your animal wants you to know versus what you want to hear

This is the hardest part of the work. People come to me hoping their cat will say she is happy in the new apartment. Sometimes the cat says exactly that. Sometimes the cat says she is grieving the old window. The session is worth more in the second case, even though it is harder to hear, because now you can do something about it. A bench by the new window. A familiar blanket. A change of routine. Information you did not have before.

I will tell you what your animal said, gently but without softening. You can choose what to do with it.

Sessions I do not take

I do not take sessions for breeding decisions. I do not take sessions where the question is whether to euthanise. That decision is between you, your animal, and your veterinarian, and a session in that moment can confuse the call. I do not take sessions where the animal has not been sent to me by someone who has the right to ask on their behalf. The full list of qualifiers is on the frequently asked questions page.

If your animal has already crossed

The session for an animal who has passed is its own kind of work. The connection does not end at the body, but the protocol is different and the emotional weight is different. If you are in that moment, the Rainbow Bridge reading is the right path, not a standard animal communication session.

If your animal is living and you are ready, book an animal communication session. If you have a soul question for yourself alongside a question about your animal, the Deep Connection session combines both.
